Botox
The 11’s-those vertical lines that appear between your brows-actually result from powerful muscle contractions. When you concentrate or frown, the muscles between your brows contract, causing your skin to furrow and fold. After years of frequent contraction, those creases can linger even after the muscles have relaxed.
BOTOX© Cosmetic (Botulinum Toxin Type A) is a purified protein that is administered in a simple, nonsurgical procedure to temporarily reduce those moderate to severe frown lines between the brows-in people ages 18 to 65.
Is BOTOX© right for me?
If you are concerned that frown lines between your brows make you look tired, stressed or unapproachable, BOTOX© Cosmetic may be right for you. Good candidates are men and women between 18 and 65 years old.
How does BOTOX© Cosmetic work?
Very low doses of BOTOX© Cosmetic are administered via a few tiny injections directly into the muscles responsible for the frown lines between the brows.
By blocking the release of the chemical that causes these muscles to contract BOTOX© Cosmetic enables them to relax so that the skin appears smoother.
What are the risks with BOTOX© Cosmetic treatment?

What should I know about my results?
Within 1 to 2 days, you may notice a softening in the appearance of your frown lines. The area between your brows may continue to improve for up to a month. Visible results have been shown to last up to 4 months. Your own results may vary.
With BOTOX© Cosmetic, you won’t look like you’ve had work done. The muscle activity that causes frown lines is simply reduced, so you can still show expression-smile, frown or look surprised, but without the wrinkles and creases between your brows.
Men and women of varying ethnicities and skin types have also been successfully treated with BOTOX© Cosmetic. Because it works only on the underlying muscles, you needn’t be concerned that it will affect your skin color or texture.
Injectable Fillers
As you age, your skin changes. For example, it reduces production of a naturally hydrating substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). Over time the loss of HA in your skin results in facial wrinkles and folds, like those “parentheses” lines around your mouth.
Injectable gel replaces the HA your skin has lost, bringing back its volume and smoothing away facial wrinkles and folds.
How do injectable gels Work?
While some fillers on the market have a more granular consistency, injectable gels are smooth-consistency HA gels. This is due to their innovative manufacturing process that provides the smooth gel properties as well as an optimal gel structure that holds up over time and lasts longer. That’s why Juvederm™ injectable gel is the only HA filler that’s FDA approved to last up to one year.
